Over the years, I have collected some websites and platforms from various places that offer free temporary email and SMS verification services, both domestically and internationally. There are quite a few of them, so I took some time to organize them and summarize them here.
The main focus is on anonymous, temporary, and disposable email addresses, as well as platforms that allow for free sending and receiving of SMS verification codes. These services are convenient for registering various accounts completely anonymously and hiding one's true identity.
For law-abiding citizens like me, the most we would do is register a throwaway account to avoid leaking personal information and receiving various spam and harassing advertisements.

Secure email: ProtonMail is free encrypted email.
ProtonMail is a well-known secure email provider based in Switzerland. It was founded in 2013 by researchers from CERN, MIT, and Harvard, and is dedicated to providing encrypted email services for privacy-conscious users.
ProtonMail claims to be the world's largest encrypted email provider and offers both free and paid accounts. All accounts use end-to-end encryption and PGP encryption is enabled by default.
Since the first half of this year, users have been able to access ProtonMail's services using the Tor network, and it now supports Chinese!

Swiss Privacy, Data Security, and Neutrality
ProtonMail is registered and based in Switzerland. All our servers are located in Switzerland. This means all user data is protected by strict Swiss privacy laws.
End-to-End Encryption, Automatic Email Security
All emails are automatically protected with end-to-end encryption. This means even we cannot decrypt and read your emails. As a result, your encrypted emails cannot be shared with third parties.
Anonymous Email, Protect Your Privacy
Creating a secure email account doesn't require any personal information. By default, we do not keep any IP logs that can be linked to your anonymous email account. Your privacy comes first.
ProtonMail is a Swiss free mailbox that focuses on personal privacy and security. It uses a unique "double password technology" where you set a login password and an email encryption password. The former is stored on the ProtonMail server to verify the user's ownership of the mailbox, while the latter is not stored on ProtonMail and is used solely for encrypting and decrypting email content.
ProtonMail does not excel in terms of capacity or user interface. In fact, it only has 1 GB of storage. Its biggest feature is privacy and security.
No personal information is required during registration (including your IP address, which is not recorded). ProtonMail cannot open or browse your emails because it uses an email encryption password that only you know. Even if server data is compromised, your emails, personal privacy, etc., will not be leaked.
ProtonMail requires two sets of passwords. The first set is the login password used to verify your identity when logging in, and the mailbox password is used for email encryption and decryption. This password is not stored on ProtonMail and can only be reset if it is lost.
Remember, when registering, you only need to set the email name and password, right? The first time you use ProtonMail, don't forget to click on the "Settings" function in the upper right corner to set your display name and signature.
If you are worried about forgetting your mailbox password in the future, you can also set a Recovery Email (using your other email mailbox). If you cannot log in later, you can use this email address to receive recovery emails.
In addition to providing mailbox addresses ending in @protonmail.ch, ProtonMail also provides an alias with the ending @protonmail.com. Both mailboxes can send and receive emails without any difference.
However, despite its strong privacy and security protection, ProtonMail has some limitations that other mailboxes can achieve but it cannot. For example, it cannot use third-party email tools to send and receive emails (ProtonMail uses unique encryption technology and cannot send and receive emails through email software, only through browsers).
But if you need a highly secure, extremely private, and ad-free email mailbox, ProtonMail is definitely the best choice.
